What's in the name?

So, here comes my first blog. Let me begin with making few things clear. I am not a great writer, no great thinker, not the one who would like to write my heart out in the netspace and ofcourse no great blogger. This is my first stint with blogging and m all set to learn and explore....

To make things worse, i have no great topic in mind to write my FIRST blog. but yes, i can write about my blog's name-thebambooplant. Actually i have a bamboo plant in my room-i asked my office colleague to get one for me-and it is one of the many things dear to me. I just love it...i miss it when i go to office, so much so that i now have a mini bamboo plant on my desk ;-). I talk to my bamboo plant and my family thinks m crazy. whenever it rains i rush to take my bamboo plant out in the rain coz i know it likes those tiny, refreshing drops as much i do. every sunday morning, wen others just laze around or finish important tasks, i spend quality time with my bamboo, cleaning it, observing how many cms/inches it has gone taller, how many new leaves it has got, cribbing why do i get so much dust in my house and what not. so, when my family says i have gone mad i don't mind...i know its not their fault.

So when i was to give a name to my blog, i could not think of anything else that is neither too obvious, nor too boring, but....thebambooplant.
